In Torrox, Nerja and Torre del Mar are several supermarkets and all further shops available. Restaurants in every style from Spanish, Chinese, Thais, Indian in all villages and towns.Malaga is only 45 km from Torrox. Within an hour you can drive to the centre of Malaga, near the harbour.
The car companies near Malaga Airport like Carets rent a Fiat Punto for approx. Euro 15,00 a day in June (other cars and seizes available). See: www.cargest.com In the direction of Compete (10 km) is a very big natural parc. Near Competa is the entrance of a beautiful natural park. Golf course at Caleta de Velez (Baviera Golf). Also near Almunecar there is a big natural park. For mountain-bikers and wanderers the surroundings are wonderful.
Granada and Cordoba are just one and a half hour (resp.2 hours) driving from Torrox. Malaga is 45 km from Torrox.
Nerja has a cultural centre with a nice program of concerts, ballets and some times English spoken theatre.
